PCAM - Professional Community Association Manager - Community Associations Institute (CAI)
The pinnacle of community association management. The PCAM designation is the highest professional recognition available nationwide to managers who specialize in community association management.
To obtain this designation, a manager must earn both a CMCA certification and AMS designation, pass all of CAI's 200-level PMDP courses and have at least five years of community management experience.

CCAM - Certified Community Association Manager - Minnesota Multi Housing Association (MMHA)
Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM) is a professional certification in property management earned through the Minnesota Multi-Housing Association (MHA). Those certified as a CCAM are deemed by the association to have obtained a certain level of professional competence in the management and administration of common interest communities or developments (also called CIDs), which are generally townhome, condominium or homeowner associations or cooperatives.

CPM - Certified Property Manager - Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM)
Experience is one of the defining qualities of a CPM. More than half of all CPM professionals have over 20 years of experience and 95% have worked in the industry for at least 10 years. Every CPM must display proficiency in the core areas of real estate management, meet minimum portfolio requirements, pass a rigorous certification exam and prepare a management plan.

General Contractor License
Most states require license applicants to take a written examination on construction law, business organization and the skills of their occupation.
